The chair begins not with comfort but with continuity. A single cast aluminium gesture flows uninterrupted from foot to leg to arm to backrest, compressing structure, enclosure and occupation into one tectonic proposition. Where conventional furniture separates what holds from what is held, this design refuses that division. Where the frame bifurcates at the rear to distribute load across the backrest, structural necessity becomes formal intention, the point at which the chair declares its own organisational depth. American walnut enters precisely where the logic of metal reaches its limit, marking the threshold of contact with a material that holds temperature and registers touch differently across time. Woven textile receives the body within the geometry of the frame, not applied over it. Three materials, three registers, one continuous argument. This is architectural thinking at the scale of the body.
